Donna McCullough, Ph.D.  Clinical Psychologist

I view therapy as a means to help people deal more effectively with their lives as they identify and let go of limiting perceptions, beliefs, behaviors, and emotions. I believe that everything that happens in one’s life can be used to propel one towards a greater sense of peace and happiness and that everyone, no matter how difficult their challenges may be, is capable of leading a fulfilling life.  I am passionate about helping people make these shifts.

I am warm and engaging, and often use humor and logic to facilitate changes that lead to growth and healing.  Many of my clients have mentioned that they appreciate my pro-active, hands-on approach as opposed to solely reflecting feelings.

I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self-esteem, relationship issues, anger management, substance abuse, infertility, parenting, abuse issues, spirituality, codependency and adult child of alcoholic issues.

I work with adults and adolescents age 18 and older, as well as couples.  I am trained in EMDR. I have considerable experience and training in meditation and other mindfulness techniques.  I work with clients on many levels, ranging from strengthening their individual sense of self to a more psycho-spiritual approach to happiness and well-being.
